2020 vision

Well what a change in the world over the last few months.

All in isolation, one way or another. Who would have thought this was possible?

Many have told me they prefer this slower pace of life.

Sadly though, it has come at some considerable cost -friends and families separated by circumstance or the dreaded Covid19, weddings and funerals limited to 10 people, businesses shut, jobs lost, holiday plans abandoned and so it goes on.

It difficult to see light at the end of the tunnel, but the turn around from this pandemic is happening, it seems.

Our Alpacas have carried on regardless of the chaos around them.

Autumn in WA is such a beautiful time and watching them explore new paddocks is such fun.

They check all the boundaries first, and usually race around just kicking their heels up - it's called pronking!. Our first cria for 2020 are due this month and once they arrive, I'll post a few more photos.

Cria pronk most evenings and mornings and they really do behave like little kids, racing each other from one end of the paddock to the other. Such a spectacle.

Recent sales - Oscar and Scout to some holiday cottages nearby , Toro and JJ went off to guard sheep in the Frankland River area, and Bindi has joined a small herd near Perth.

Sadly most of the shows for the year have been cancelled. So if you want to see or buy some Alpacas, just email or give me a call.
